It was a beautiful crystalline day here at home. The horses are blanketed and warm in their stalls and all the dogs are inside enjoying the heat. I was able to take a few of pictures with my camera during a break in the freezing sleet. Hope you enjoy them!

We had a fantastic Thanksgiving here at home with lots of family, friends, food and fun. It was a great day to celebrate and be thankful for everything we have. Now, Christmas is right around the corner and soon we'll be in a brand new year. I'm so excited for the future and what tomorrow will bring.

News:
My plans for being a working student have been put on hold as they don't have a position for me as of now. But, the awesome folks down in Florida did give me some good ideas as to what I can do here to better myself and continue to learn and grow until I find another way to make it to Parelliland.

Firstly, I'm going to try to contact some instructors and advanced Parelli students in the area to see if there's anyone who I could learn from nearby. Doing this would definitely help me progress with my horse because the closer someone is, the easier it would be to get some real one-on-one hands-on help. I realized that I really miss school which lead to the decision to take this time to go back to college. When I had my Lap-Band surgery in September, I had to drop my classes due to some complications which slowed down my healing process. Now that my plans have opened up for the time being, I'm looking into online courses through Phoenix University. I'm really very interested in the Associates in Psychology they offer so come January, I'll be on it!
I'm also going to renew my gym membership and get back in there. I've already transformed my eating habits, but now it's time for the hard work. Being healthy and happy is a life-long goal of mine not only for my horses but for me. Besides, I really do miss my cardio! And as always, I plan to continue to sing and write as often as possible. If I find myself with any spare time after all this dust settles, I'm toying with the idea of starting on the Parelli's recommended reading list.
Things are progressing. Even if it's not what I planned, wanted or expected; it's okay. I know things are headed where they should and I'll get to where I want to be eventually. The only thing I can do is have faith and determination and keep moving forward.

Positive, Progressive and Natural:
I'm trying to allow these three principles to soak into every area of my life.
On an ending note, here are a few snapshots I got of my herd in their winter-time pajamas today. They're adorable, right?
