It is so BEAUTIFUL HERE! All the flowers are in full bloom and everything is just so green and alive.. You guys know I just had to get some more pictures..

It's a time for spring cleaning and refreshing!
So in honor of that I've decided to clue you wonderous readers in on what's going on.. and not just in the horsey aspect of my life.. I have a job at Zaxby's Chicken and I am also only one test away from getting my GED. (: Everything is going well in that area of my life and I appreciate all the prayers and thoughts being sent my way.

As far as my life with horses, everything is brightening. It's always very difficult for me to stay motivated in Winter months so, now that Spring has arrived things are picking up and I'm having fun with my herd on a daily basis!

Bailey, as you can see is turning out to be quite the handsome little dude! We went for a ride yesterday, him and I, and he has shown himself to be really easy going and oh so patient. He's growing on me, what can I say.

He's also looking very slick with the most amazing mane of hair since Fabio himself! Teehee, I think these two LBI's would enjoy some time together.

While on the subject of looks, the 'Bug got herself a spring trim as well! She's had her mane squared up and she's looking super snazzy with a taste of English. (even though she's still a little fuzzy.)

The two of them make a dashing couple and the sweetest herd a girl could ask for. (:

Enjoy the rest of these pictures and I'll update soon!

Love, Katieanne. xoxoxox.

Yes, well... I know I vanished for months with no explanation and there really is none. I've just been living life!

As far as updates go, I am happy to report that Bailey has settled in amazingly and Bug&Bailers is the newest adorable duo to hit the blogger scene! To your left you'll see them making faces at me on one of the many rainy days of April.
I went to tell my mini-herd goodbye yesterday before we left for the beach (I'm at Myrtle Beach until Thursday!) & they didn't hear me until I entered their pasture. When I did I spread my arms out and went "GUYS, HELLOOO?!" And their heads came up and they looked at me all "HAI!!" and then they ran to me and nickered. I was pretty much a puddle o' katieanne. Still am, thinking about it now! -Sigh.- I'm so in love with my darlings.

ON ANOTHER NOTE. My grandparents saw fit to buy a mini horse stallion. They named him Elvis. He's quite the cool little dude. Here are some pictures of my little cousin (Future bronc rider, for sure.) Mandi, riding him around.

Mandi and Elvis with Uncle Colon holding the lead..

This is a favourite of mine!

& last but not least.. my Coco-esque shot (: I'm in love with this picture. I'm pretty sure I want it framed.

Well, guys. I am going to go spend some time down by the pool with my family. I hope everyone is doing well and there will be more soon. 'Tis the season to be blogging. (I'm so inspired in spring/summer... it does seem to be a pattern.)

Love,
katieanne.
