This feeling of moving forward is addictive and I'm really enjoying my new, active lifestyle.
Combining my new lifestyle with horses is the current goal and a close friend of mine told me about the working student program at the Parelli centers. I made up my mind to go for it, so off I went.
Literally!
I went down to the Parelli center in Florida for the Open House on October 30th and it was a blast! I got to reconnect with some old friends and make a few new ones. I had a chat with Lee Palmer and Ann Kiser and I filled out an application for the working student program. Ann said I should hear back from them within a few weeks, so I'm totally biting my nails until that fateful e-mail... or phone call. Wish me luck!
If luck truly is spelled W-O-R-K and defined as when preparation meets opportunity then I have one thing to say: I feel as if I am super-prepared for this opportunity to W-O-R-K!

Bailey is a 9ish year old Paint gelding and is the newest addition to our little herd.
