CHECKLIST

1. Find a trailer to borrow to stick in the pasture to use for desensitization and sessions for the remainder of the month.

2. Get some barrels, a tarp and something that we could use as a pedestal, and do some work with desensitization.

3. Continue work on teaching Lady to lower her head from pressure. Instead of freaking out and pushing against it I want her to give to it.

4. Work on thresholds and new environments by taking her out for walks/ grazing trips.

5. Read all Q&A’s and Articles on the SC website about trailer loading.Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

6. Really firm up our Principle Games so that our Purpose Games are better.

7. Advance the squeeze games, circling game and yo yo game as they’re the most useful when trailer loading.

8. Look for truck and trailer rentals/figure out a way to transport Lady to Mariah’s.

9. Start saving up money to go towards truck/trailer rental and gas.

10. Get back to studying my Level 1 materials to help me form Game Plans.

11. Stop procrastinating and create a process that will help me set everything up for success.

12. Create a schedule for lessons between now and the 25th, alternating UDT and sessions to keep and better our rapport.

13. Create an inspiration board, with quotes and euphemisms to help keep me motivated and dedicated! Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting

14. Study the “What to do (and not do!) with your horse.” Article from the February ’08 Savvy Times Magazine to gain some knowledge on how to play and teach different Horsenalities so that I will be prepared when Lady loses confidence and “flips the chart” on me during sessions. (This chart is also in a brochure that is being handed out at the ’08Parelli Tour Stops)

15. Fill out the Leadership chart on the other side of the brochure from the ’08 Parelli Tour Stop and pin it up. Photobucket - Video and Image Hosting
