Well, we hit the ground running, so to speak. We've been sprinting around like madwomen for the past two days and I am sure I will have no trouble sleeping while I'm here.
My mom left tonight and we had quite the tearjerker moment. I'm very nervous about being away from my family for so long. Being outside my comfort zone is where I will no doubt do my best learning.. But of course it isn't going to be easy. There are a lot of things here with me that offer me comfort like my mom's blanket..my brother's shirt and my familiar music. I predict many long nights of texting!

On the great side of things..
Fran and I are having a blasty blast! I am already learning so much and asking sooo many questions. We've shared quite a few funny looks and giggles. Not the mention the LP stories. (yes, I so did just do that, Franny.) ;D

In other news: I have limited access to the internet here because my laptop does not pick up wireless. Therefore, I have made the decision to write every night on MS Word and when I return to NC, I will post it all in 2-3 day chunks including pictures. Just wanted to give you guys a heads up on that and also, I won't be checking my e-mail *as* often. So if you would really like to contact me, don't be a stranger. I have unlimited text on my wonderful Verizon phone and you are welcome to give me a ring to chat, ask questions or say hello.
